Prudence Ukanika has revolutionized Uganda’s beverage industry with her company, Bella Wines, which specializes in the production of wine made from local fruits for example hibiscus. She is recognized for her innovative methods of fermentation and production, turning Uganda's rich agricultural diversity into premium wine. Prudence's commitment to quality has earned her awards and recognition both locally and internationally.
With Bella Wines, Prudence has showcased the potential of Ugandan
produce, opening up new markets for local fruits and providing employment
opportunities in agribusiness. Her work emphasizes the importance of adding
value to local agricultural products, promoting entrepreneurship among women,
and contributing to Uganda's export revenues. As a mentor, she encourages
